Kumera Reductor 1

This is a Kumera gearbox reducer. As a project engineer and technologist, my task was to determine the material that will be used to make this housing as well as to design the technology and method of assembling, welding, and machining of this housing according to customer specifications. The biggest task in creating this part was achieving very narrow tolerances with machining. I have also made a CNC program for precise machining of this housing on the KAFO mill machine.

Kumera Reductor 2

Another Kumera gearbox reducer, but a little bit more complicated. This reductor is made of three subassemblies which require machining of surfaces in 0,03mm to lie on top of each other which is never an easy task. Luckily with the right choices of tools and technology of machining, we were able to accomplish the production of this reducer.

Flexible locker

​For my master thesis at KU University Leuven, I had to design a solution for solving problems of small space in standard parcel lockers compartments. This flexible locker is made of smaller compartments that can form, flex into the bigger ones. It solves delivery of bigger products like washing machines, printers and others.

Machine Platform

My first, work from home, project. I had to design, make a 3D model of a platform using standard parts for platforms, profiles, tubes, and plates, and make 2D drawings of all parts and assembly of the platform.

3D Printed Handle

3D print of handle for instrument case.

This part was modeled using reverse engineering. It has good ergonomics and it can withstand high forces because it was printed in detail of 0.1mm. It was printed on a Prusa  3D printer.

Pi Bett

One of my first professional projects was designing this small betting machine. I was limited by the dimensions of the machine, so it fits into the narrow space of the betting place. It was very important that the design was smooth, small, and efficient. It is used to scan your betting ticket and to show the results of your betting games. 500 pieces were produced for just one delivery.

Trash bins

My second freelance job. I had to design two types of trash bins. I only got one drawing and pictures of similar trash bins. I found the solution and designed the specific trash bins that were later produced by American companies.

Kumera Gear box 5

Another Kumera gearbox reductor. For this Kumera I have made G-code in solid cam for 5-axis drilling of G1 holes on the side. We rotated the head of the machine for 35 degrees C axis and 90 degrees A axis.

3D Printed bearing cover

One of my customers is a CNC machine reseller. Unfortunately, when he ordered the machine they came with bearings whose cover was 0.2mm wider. Narrow covers needed to be printed. After successfully printing two covers, we got the job of mass production of such bearing covers.
